Dr. Kura is a board-certified anesthesiologist with over a decade of private-practice and hospital-leadership experience in OB and general anesthesia. He earned his medical degree (MD) from Tulane University School of Medicine before completing his Anesthesiology residency at Montefiore Medical Center / Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
He serves as Chief of Anesthesia and a Medical Executive Committee member at Methodist & Methodist Landmark Hospitals, with direct, ongoing involvement in physician credentialing, peer review, and case-level evaluation of anesthesia complications. He also serves as a board member for Inspire Anesthesia Partners.
When not providing patient-centered care in the OR, OB unit or in the perioperative space, Dr. Kura enjoys world travel, practicing piano, playing tennis and relaxing on the beach with his family.
